Provides a long-lasting protective barrier against incontinence or exudate as well as minimising water loss from the skin
Cutimed Protect comes in three types;
- Cutimed PROTECT Cream - Barrier cream that protects the skin from bodily fluids. It protects dry, chafed, red, irritated skin by moisturising the skin and providing a long lasting barrier. Will not impair adhesion of adhesive dressings or medical tapes.
- Contraindication: Not to be used on skin where an infection is present or used if there is a known allergic sensitivity to the ingredients
- Cutimed PROTECT film spray and foam applicator - Forms a colourless, transparent film with good permeability to oxygen and water vapour to protect both intact or irritated skin that may arise from urinary and/or faecal incontinence, digestive and wound fluids, adhesives and shearing forces for up to 96 hours
- Quick drying, breathable and alcohol-free the liquid does not sting on application
